Families in West Receive Beds Donated by Local Mattress Retailer
August 1, 2013 - Sleep Experts has donated 80 mattress sets and box springs to help families affected by the fertilizer plant explosion in West, Texas that occurred in April. The City of West has a total population of 2,800 and more than 800 people were directly affected by the devastation.
Working with the West Long Term Recovery Center, Sleep Experts delivered 40 Simmons Queen mattress sets and 40 additional box springs at a site in Downtown West on July 31. Employee volunteers off-loaded beds from trucks as residents drove up to receive their donations.
